The attraction boasts brilliant landscaping, bright lighting, waterfalls, streams and its very own clubhouse selling refreshing drinks. Look out for the water hazard on holes 11 & 6, and tackle the figure eight spectacular on hole 9 - a first to the UK!

Each hole offers unique hazards ranging from jumps and bumps to rivers and underground tunnels, all adding to the fun of the game. Both beginners and experts are catered for with different levels of difficulty to tackle on each hole!

The stunning new course marks almost £1/2 million of investment in Pleasure Beach, following £8 million in 2007 to bring Infusion to the park.

The Great Promenade Show is an outdoor exhibition of features by some of the UK's leading artists and designers. Lighting features, sculptures and constructions will amaze you with their ingenuity, innovation and sheer scale. It is a variety show or art; some will inspire you, others will frighten you, make you laugh or simply make you think. At night the show takes on other dimensions.

There's the incredibly ornate, gilded plasterwork, baroque ceiling, cavorting cherubs, cantilevered balconies allowing every seat a clear view of the stage and elegant new seats all creating a real 'wow' factor.

Blackpool Grand Theatre is one of the few remaining theatres of great architectural character, designed by Frank Matcham. It has a magnificent 4-level auditorium with 1,100 seats. All-year-round programme covering all live art forms. At Blackpool Grand Theatre, Lancashire's premier touring theatre and arts centre you will catch a wide ranging programme of shows throughout the year.

The Tower Festival Headland is situated opposite Blackpool's famous tower and will house a spectacular open-air events space for up to 20,000 spectators. A new art installation entitled the 'Comedy Carpet' featuring comedy catchphrases etched in stone will provide a creative footpath stretching from the entrance of the tower onto the festival headland itself. A brand new Tourist Information Centre, cutting-edge wedding venue and beach café/restaurant will also be based here.

Nickelodeon Land Blackpool is a collaboration between Pleasure Beach, Blackpool and Nickelodeon, the number one entertainment brand for kids, will see a 6 acre area of Pleasure Beach transformed into Nickelodeon Land, which will feature 14 rides, 9 are brand new and 5 are extensively re-themed existing rides. Nickelodeon Land also includes themed retail and catering outlets.New rides include SpongeBob's Splash Bash, which is an interactive ride where riders have the opportunity to turn the jets onto their friends and blast pesky jellyfish with jets of water for a splashing time. Avatar Airbender allows riders to join Aang on an amazing adventure, spinning and soaring through the air on a giant disk. The Rugrat's Lost River is a rollicking flume ride where you join the Rugrats on their quest to find the mythical Temple of Spoon.

Blackpool Opera House is the country's largest theatre, with a seating capacity of almost 3000, the Opera House can only be described as a famous venue.

Opera House part of the Blackpool Winter Gardens has seen performances from the world's greatest entertainers and shows, ever since it opened in 1939.

Hollywood stars such as Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and Bob Hope have all graced the Blackpool Opera House stage. More recently, stars including Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Ronan Keating, Jim Davidson and Peter Kay have performed to sell-out audiences here.

Shows have included top west end productions such as 'Joseph', 'Grease' and 'Cats'.

With its spectacular barrel-vaulted ceiling, sparkling chandeliers, pristine parquet flooring and ornate balconies, the Empress Ballroom is a quite staggering venue and star of the Blackpool Winter Gardens

Built in 1896, the Empress Ballroom has hosted everything from political party conferences to pop concerts - its architectural splendour, vast capacity and unrivalled flexibility making it extremely popular with regional, national and international event organisers alike.

Fish and flippers combine in the new "Active Oceans" arena which unites the fun and frolics of the sea-lions with the streamlined swimming of the penguins next door. Already boasting the largest sea-lion pool in the UK, the zoo has extended and refurbished the surround to allow visitors much closer access to these amazing animals and birds. Also new for 2010 at Blackpool Zoo is a walkthrough wallaby enclosure which, like the very popular "Lemur Wood" will allow the animals to get as close as they want to the visitors.
